This is a gem of the National Trust. It’s small and beautifully presented. There’s amazing detail inside. The volunteers were all really friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and extremely well looked after.. A must visit!

We enjoyed the gardens. House was ok but not suitable for disabled. Tea room experience was frankly awful. Queued for close on 30 minutes for lukewarm 'hot' chocolate. Chaotic seating, not enough staff, not enough working coffee machines.

I simply love history and this estate did not disappoint. A lovely place to take the family for a day out or an afternoon with Mum or, as I did, on your own.

At first, I was little disappointed to see that the presented history appeared to be about a recent inhabitant. When, the full history of the building is understood, then the importance of Ash's influence and contribution to the building explains the focus on him and...More

We turned up at Packwood house tea room/coffee shop yesterday for a quick drink and a piece of cake. We were literally accosted by a female Hitler impersonator who demanded we pay either the entrance fee or joined the NT. We turned around in disgust...More

We went as a family of 10 adults and 5 children under 7. Took a picnic and made great use of the picnic area where tables/benches are provided. The walk was excellent with some little woodland activity to amuse at every turn. Beautiful old house...More
