About Dolphin Spotting Boat Trips
DOLPHIN SPOTTING BOAT TRIPS , New Quay, Ceredigion Wales are open April to October. We operate 7 days a week (weather permitting) and offer both ONE and TWO hour dolphin spotting boat trips from the historic pier in New Quay along our beautiful coastline in the Cardigan Bay special area of conservation. Our large stable, purpose built passenger boats abide by a strict marine code of conduct for protection of the local wildlife and are skippered by experienced boat masters. The guide on board will be keeping a look-out for the Bottlenose Dolphins which reside in the area whilst providing an informative talk on the wildlife and local history. On both trips you will travel past seal haul-out areas and sea bird nesting sites. Our 1 hour trips venture to the smuggler's cove of Cwmtydu. 2 hour trips venture further down the coastline to the peninsular of Ynys Lochtyn - a natural feeding grounds for dolphins. Boats are dog friendly. Groups of 50 adults can enjoy this experience together.

Went on Ermol V today on a 2 hour trip with Jonno and Josh and it was great. Saw lots of Dolphins and a couple of seals. The information given throughout was amazing. Had the excitement of being landed back on shore via an inflatable as the sand banks prevented the boat from landing. Fabulous trip, would do it again. Wear something warm as it's always colder on a boat then on shore. Thank you lads we really enjoyed it!

1 hour trip, superb commentary, and we were graced with a bachelor group hunting and a maternity pod feeding. Glorious.

A great boat ride for a relaxing scenic view of West Wales' cliffs and wildlife. Our 1-year-old was easily allowed on the boat without any problems. We were not able to spot any dolphins, but still enjoyed the boat ride nonetheless. The sunset was particularly enjoyed by all. Our

Did the 1.5 hour trip last week. Saw seals and a pup. Saw dolphins throughout the trip and even a calf. Connor was a great host - friendly, very knowledgable about the area/all the wildlife and was clearly passionate about their welfare. The relevant areas of the boat were sanitised in between trips and Connor ensured that social distancing was strictly adhered to during the trip. Great trip. Value for money. A must do when in New Quay!
