This is small but very good and must visit place in Dharamsala. You can well spend 1 hour in there reading about Tibetian people and their struggle. It is a very peaceful place and you will certainly enjoy your time there.

A 30 minute trip will give you an invite to the challenges the Tibetan people have endured and continue to endure. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a small museum with mostly information including visuals. This is dedicated to Tibet's struggle to gain freedom. The photos and videos and artefacts celebrate the fighters and condemn the imperial hand that rules Tibet right now. This is NOT a place of pleasure....More

The photgraphic images and commentary in the two story museum were sobering and worth a 45 minute visit. However, the name is a bit misleading, since it is not a museum of art. It is more in the vein of the Holocaust Museum - a...More

Tiberan Museum at Dalai Lama temple complex is an excellent source to know about Dalai Lama and his exile from Tibet in photo with self explanation and a short film.

Not just the history from the 1950s but all the way to present day. Accounts of what has been happening more recently are harrowing - but only by knowing can anything be done. Highly recommend,

Spent a good hour looking round the exhibits here. We don't here much about the struggle of the Tibetians, but it was profoundly moving to learn of how difficult their lives were and continue to be. Good to see here before visiting the nearby temple.

I found my tour of the centre very revealing. I hadn't realised that China had invaded Tibet in 1949, even though I knew that the Dalai Lama had been forced to flee in 1959. The pitiful state of things in Tibet, and for the tibetan...More

This is a small, nice and very informative museum. The place is not very big and sure this attracts the tourist who wants to know more about Tibetan culture. There are certain things I read which will surely surprize you.
