Considering the religious beliefs and history associated to this place, it was very disappointing to see how dirty this place has been made by visitors. Wish people would begin to appreciate our historical sites a little more and strive to keep them clean.

This is the place at the foot of badrinath temple wherein its idol was thrown away long time back before reinstalling. The place appears like a small creek joining into river alkananda. Nothing much is there to see except the board which tells its significance.
