Golden sands and u can swim at any tide. Great for kids or go over the hill to little Kaiteriteri for deeper adult swim. Beautiful outlook.

What a beautiful beach...it certainly speaks to the imagination with its golden sand and azure-blue water, and picturesque islands in the bay... our family of 4 had a magical few hours there, enjoying the warm water and basking in the sun afterwards. We were there...More

Like being somewhere else in the world! The sand is golden and the beach lovely to swim in with a gentle slope and not too rough with waves. A real hidden gem!

The beach is nice and the water warm. There are nicer beaches around, and one of the issues is it is a launching spot for a lot of boat tours and you need to pay attention to your surroundings.

Great beach at high and low tides. Beach is clean and has boat access. Rent paddle boards and kayaks. Swim out the jetty and jump off.

Love Kaiteriteri beach. Our fourth visit here now and love coming back. Great beach for families and for those wanting a base to visit the Abel Tasman Park from.

Went to both Little and Big Kaiteriteri beaches and found both very pleasant. The Little one is nicer and offers a more relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of free parking around. The beaches are great for photos, with its golden sand.

I have already answered this question a few weeks back. I do not know about bus schedules, I'm afraid, and in any case would recommend renting a car in order to get around New Zealand: the roads are generally quiet and the... More

Kaiteriteri Beach is located on a peninsula near Abel Tasman National Park. You could classify it as remote. Your best bet is to rent a car; we used Omega last year and they worked out great. While in the Abel Tasman area... More
