This little church is very old and it has a very interesting shape and style. It was built in the 11th century and today it is a mariners chapel. Very simply decorated inside and the bell tower was very interesting as well for the steps...More
Lovely building outside and in with a decidedly nautical theme. The interior roof looks like it's been constructed by ship builders and there are yachts hanging from the ceiling, lovely !
Whilst on holiday in Cameret sur mer we once again visited Chapelle notary dame de Rocomadeur. It personifies the destination itself. A very special place to visit full of history and a very peaceful place to see.

Old quayside church with model sailing boats hanging down from the ceiling. Easy to imagine the services held here, of celebration, loss or hope.

the golden stone , simplicity of the Church , but God's presence is here ! on the "Sillon" between Tour Vauban and abandonned fishing boats.
This Chapel is so endearing that you wish you could fit a service in your schedule. Very simple, so very nautical, and the neighborhood warmth makes you wish you could take it with you.
