Starting from Schlossbergalm, this is a lovely walk up to the ruins of Castle Hohenfreyberg. During my last trip there, I even saw a fox strolling up to the castle.

the combo castles of Hohenfreyberg & Eisenberg, are a wonderful short distance from Fussen and proves to be even more fun to explore and also provides even more scenic views than that of thier " counterparts" in fussen.
