Although this cemetery is not as big or vast as the American one at Margraten, it is nevertheless worth a visit, it lies in a wooded area, a little way of the beaten track but near a bus stop, and has one or two memorials...More

Whilst not as pristine as the cemetery just up the road in Hurtgen, this graveyard has the same solemnity that one would expect from such a place. Sadly, the memorial statue to 116th Panzer had been removed - I'm not sure if this was an...More

For those familiar with these sombre places this is standard. some 2500 German soldiers from the battles of the Hurtengenwald and 35 other who lost their lives in clearing munitions afterwards.
