The hurricanes wiped out all of the bars, restaurants, and rental homes on this beautiful beach, but it’s still just that- a beautiful beach. Now there is a single bar/restaurant shack serving beer, mixed drinks, and food on their single grill. We ordered the freshly...More

Went here for snorkeling; This beach has NOT recovered from the storm last year. it was dirty, destruction everywhere and only one vendor which had something to drink. The water was rough with a strong current. For Naturalist there were only like 6 people there....More

You can visibly see the effects of Hurricane Irma on this beach. Our taxi driver, Ms. Margaret reminded us the cement pad we parked on was a restaurant along with a dozen other cement pads. The restrooms were not operational when we visited in May...More

Orient Bay was very nice and relaxing. I would suggest getting there before 10 so you can select a good location. The beach is good for swimming and sun bathing. There are also kite surfing and jet skis to rent, in addition to the parasailing.

With most all of the beach Restaurants gone thanks to Hurricane Irma, Happy to report that Bikini Beach is now open. Great beach chairs, bar, restaurant. Whether JR & Pascal at the Bar or on the Beach Aurelein & Flavio. Really glad they are BACK!!!

Enjoyed hanging with the family. Umbrellas and chairs were reasonably priced. Restaurant close by with service on the beach. No frozen drinks on the day we were there. Still recovering from Irma so no shower available.

I remember this beach as a beautiful place but alas it is no more due to hurricane destruction - I hope to see its resurrection in the future - photos too distressing to take.

There was only 1 place open to eat on the beach, but we wanted to support the locals so we went. It cost us $36 for two egg and cheese rolls and two small fresh-pressed juices, not including tip. The French operators of the outdoor bar...More

We went to Orient Beach on a cruise excursion. Orient Beach is beautiful but when going with other cruisers, it is crowded. We had our own lounge along with the 100 others from our ship. The hotels around Orient Beach had similar lounges to distinguish...More

We actually went there on an excursion from our ship, so transportation was provided. But we did rent chairs and umbrellas. The local ladies were there selling and offering massages in your chair, did take advantage of this... More
