About
Valdigal, is the smallest winery of Toro DO and the only subterranean one in which we produce our wine. Our wine making proccess is traditional although we incorporate new technologies in order for our wines to meet our high quality standars and fulfill our customers' tastes. Despite our small production, we are proud of the quality of our wines, and as a reward to our efforts; our 2010 Red has been awarded with 90 Parker Points and 91 Peñín Points VISITS: Contact us to organize your visit

Very informative
Aug 2020
One of the co-owners gave us and 2 other couples a very detailed and interesting explanation of the Bodega, which was set up in 2007, at the time of the economic crisis in Spain, as well as the history of Toro wine in general. Very drinkable wine (we bought a crate), which has also won accolades abroad. Extremely good value wine-tasting for 10 euro pp.

Wonderful tour; excellent wine
Nov 2019
We thoroughly enjoyed Bodega Vialdigal. Our host, Leonardo, the winemaker himself, was both personable and knowledgeable. We learned more about the art and science of winemaking during this tour than we have on any other such outing. We didn’t feel rushed and could ask all of our questions, which Leonardo answered in excellent English. After the tour of the subterranean, centuries-old facility, we tasted the wine; it is outstanding. Bodga Vialdigal was a highlight of our time in Toro and we highly recommend a visit.

An unusual and wonderful small winery
Aug 2019 • Couples
Valdigal, in the heart of the town of Toro, is an excellent place to visit. The owner is passionate about his wine and knows winemaking and is very warm and friendly. The visit includes a trip to the underground winery and it’s a window into the past, to a time when many homes had underground winemaking facilities just for their family’s use. The wine was delicious and despite my resolve not to buy any wine because we had many days of traveling left in our vacation, I purchased two bottles. We’ve drink one already and it is a very good bottle of wine. Highly recommended.

If you are around Toro and you do like wine, you really shouldn’t miss this winery. The owner is very sweet and attentive and makes the experience a great one. Their wine is very tasty and you’ll probably want to bring home a bottle or two.

A special wine
Oct 2018 • Couples
A cozy and familiar wine cellar that combines professionalism with personal service. As my special advice buy the Valdigal 2014, a full body red wine with perfect balance among flavors, color and tannins.

Great wine! Wonderful Visit!

We had the finest time visiting here! We were warmly greeted and given a first rate tour and explanation of the wine making process. The cellar beneath the street was lovely. Our host made us feel welcome with a wine tasting and snacks. We had a wonderful time.

Wine making with a passion
Oct 2016 • Family
We visited the winery for a tour in October, and Pedro gave us a fascinating history of the bodega, and how he makes his wine. It's clear that wine is his passion, and this shows through when he is pouring the glasses of wine. A very nice tour, with some really excellent wine ! (Which we bought a few bottles of !). A great way to spend a couple of hours.
