Didn't have much time to spend at the beach but the view from my room definitely gave me peace just by looking at the sea beach for hours. They have maintained the beach nicely and visitors are allowed to take bath in the water.

Only issue in Murudeshwar is the beach. Its so dirty that even beach enthusiasts would stay away from it. The path to beach itself is messy. Everything else apart from beach is wonderful in Murudeshwar.

Given the number of tourists this place witnesses, wouldn’t call it the cleanest of beaches we had been to during the trip. However, the water is shallow and one can really enjoy the beach and sea here. Also, this place clearly offered the most beach...More

The beach is always calm and the waves are very less. The beach is also verg big and located adjacent to Murudeshwara temple. You can spend almost half a day in the beach and temple.

This beach is the end of 1-lane tourist place of Murdeshwar. While the temple and the Shiva statue on it evoke a sense of grandeur, the beach is more commercial in nature. The coastline is very flat with almost no hidden rock - hence convenient...More

This beach is crowded and small. I felt so light and blossomed inside after doing full moon meditation on the beach. As I opened eye, it got dark and I could see moon reflection in water. A hundred stars above the sky and me under...More

They need to really clean up the beach. It has great potential. Also they need to understand the heritage they have not damage the existing ecostructure. Plastic is indiscriminately in use and being thrown everywhere.

Main interest of the beach is to walk watching the deity in the morning or sit in front of him in the night (beautiful view with the lights on the temple and the stars). Otherwise there was nothing much. I walked 30 minutes there, but...More

The beach resort cafeteria itself is very good & hygienic. But a word of caution, carry water bottle else you will have health issues.
