While staying in Lambarda my wife and I went to the beach and enjoyed ourselves very much sitting and enjoying the beautiful water which is as clear as can be with a blueish tint to it. They have a snack bar, but you can also...More

This is easy to get to by local bus from korcula town. Stay on the bus until the last stop ( the bus goes through lumbarda town first) and then get off at the end before it turns around for the return journey. Walk down...More

The beach of Lumbarda, a town near Korcula town, is one of the few sandy ones in Croatia and quite big compared to most, but always crowded, without shade, unless you pay for one, it offers couple of bars and a snack place, massage cabanas...More

A small (albeit large for Lumbarda) sandy beach in a well protected cove. Very shallow for a long way so great for kids and messing around - water was always calm and warm on our visit and even though the beach is well packed it...More

Big sandy beach with a lot of meters to walk in water before deep part. Respecting what we've seen, beach is very attractive to families with kids. There isn't natural shade, but sun umbrella renting is really not expensive. Prices in beach bar are also...More

Generally, I do not prefer sandy beaches that are rather shallow. There are no shade, so be prepared to cook slowly at beach. It might be good idea if you are visiting with kids before 10 am and after 5 pm.

Sandy beach (unusual for Dalmatia) located in the outskirts of Lumbarda. Great for hanging out and enjoying beach life. Shallow water makes this a good location also for families with small children. Daily rent for a sun chair and parasoll is 40 Kn. There is...More

Pržina beach is a must visit spot in Lumbarda. Beautiful sandy beach surrounded by vineyards and sea. You can walk many meters in the water before it dips so it's great for families with children. There are couple of places to buy drinks and some...More

Most Croatian beaches are rocky/pebbly, but this one was sandy, and quite shallow to at least 100m out. I do believe that the sand is 'imported' over the years, but it's much better than rocks. Water beautiful.

We arrived around 11 AM, the beach was not crowded. We rented chairs and umbrellas (20 kunas each). The water was warm compared to the other in other islands. This is a sandy beach. There is a bar where you can get reasonably prices hamburgers,...More

We went there on a scooter we rented for a day /£25-40/ to be able to visit more places, not sure about water or air temperatures in October, possibly refreshingly cold, as the water was cold even in August.
