Cute small town
Jul 2020 • Couples
This is a cute little town. Our hotel was a bit away from the center. We went there by bike. There are plenty of bar and restaurants.

It was a windy overcast day so didn’t look pretty
Jun 2019 • Family
We landed up here on the worst day weatherwise, so unfortunately the beach looked terrible. No sunbeds nor umbrellas for hire. We headed for Lapillo Beach instead and had a fab time on an amazing beach!!

A great seaside port to visit and Thursday market
Sep 2018 • Family
Port Ceasreo is a love;ly seaside port to visit with a nice promenade and lovely bars, cafes, restaurants and Gelateria. It is lovely to walk along the well laid out path in front of the sea. Visit the market on Thursdays although get their early as parking is challenging on that day.

Authentic Italian fishing village
Jul 2018 • Couples
If buying fish off the board at 6am and fresh figs from the farm is your thing then head to Porto Cesareo! Spent a week in here in July and highly recommend the experience. Excellent boat rental and diving off an amazing shoreline.

A nice place to for a weekend
Jun 2018 • Couples
This is a really super little coastal resort with good access to the sea and beaches. The town runs along he beachline and the hotels follow that. I stayed at the Isolated lo scoglio and they have access to the sea directly.
Overall I wouldn't stay here too longad it has limited variety but it is a great place definitely to be added to an itinerary

A change in our itinerary led us to this gem of a town
Apr 2018 • Couples
We decided to change our itinerary a bit to get away from some of the nice but crowded and traffic-filled towns in Puglia to enjoy a coastal drive for a while. I'd remembered reading about Porto Cesareo while researching our trip, so we headed there, and it turned out to be one of the nicest overnights of our trip. It was just the right size to avoid the traffic congestion we found in many of the other towns we visited, plus we found that once we parked our car at our hotel (the scenically-situated Isola Lo Scoglio hotel) we could stroll across the water on their small bridge to restaurants and markets in town. Another bonus of the town we found was the fact that most the restaurants opened at 6 pm, and we had a delicious and reasonably-priced dinner at Le Arcate. We got the feeling that the town doesn't see many English-speaking visitors compared to many of the tourist-destination towns in Puglia, and we found everyone we met to be very friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful start to our drive around the coast.

Cute beach town
Oct 2017
Visited during the off season so it was wonderfully peaceful. It was still hot so we were able to sunbathe and go for a swim! Highly recommend checking out if it's not too crowded. However, many restaurants may be closed off season.

Marina full of posh boats
Sep 2017 • Couples
Porto Cesareo is a fairly modern town that developed out of it's harbor with an active fishing fleet. The seas are very clear, clean with a sandy sea bed and National Marine Park established in 1971 (among the largest in Italy). The marina and town are accessible via level and paved promenade.
Whilst it is a good place to walk around for the day an extended visit would revolve around the numerous beaches visits to the local area.

Nice fishing harbour
May 2017 • Family
Porto Cesareo lies on a coast with blue/turquoise crystal clear waters and sandy beaches. The town has a very nice harbour with fisherman boats. It's a little bit step back in time both for the attitude of the people then for the infrastructures. We visited it in may before the touristic season and it was amazing
