A beautiful little lake with dark water against a verdant green forest. Follow the wooden path around the Etang, which takes about 40 minutes to walk. Dogs have to be kept on the line but we let ours go in the water a few times....More

Stoped by and hiked around this lake. Thought I was somewhere in Canada. Just so beautiful. Easy hiking trail even for elderly and not so fast people. Enjoy it. The tranquility, nature's beauty. In summer one can swim, ideal for pic-nic. Missed a little restaurant...More

One of my favorites in the area! The Pond is very well preserved, and the views spectacular. From time to time, you would easily forget you're in the Jura, but somewhere in the Canadian wilderness! Plus, you can see lots of wild creatures: salamanders, a...More

This is one lovely lake! It is not easely found, not visible from the main road. Look for signs, there are two entrances, two parking lots. A short walk will connect with a level hiking trail around the lake. There are wooded areas, peaceful sunny...More

Beautiful place to visit only 30 minutes from the bigger town Biel/Bienne. Amazing nature in all the 4 seasons. Just to see and have a look or to walk around the lake ( hour walk).

One of the most beautiful spot in the Franches-Montagnes! The best moment of the day to go there is at the sunset or sunrise. (Less people)

While wandering along paths or across footbridges discover this absolutely fabulous place - a photographers or picnickers paradise. In a developed yet calm environment just be amazed by the beauty and diversity of the natural park around a lake full of wildlife and birds.

We stayed in Saintelegiers and walk to the Etang de Royes and then to the Etang de la Gruere. A very nice walk through the green meadows. Boots or good waterproof hiking shoes are recommended, as it is a moor that can be soaking wet!...More

What a beautiful and peaceful place, settled among the trees, easy walk around the lake. Suggest to come here early morning (we were here from 10 AM, Sunday) or during the week, it can be fairly crowded (due the sheer beauty). Pick-nick areas near by.
