Togenukijizo is obviously a local temple as the friendliness of the locals show. Rub that part of the statue that corresponds to your troublesome body part for sone help.

Togenuki means to get thorns out of your body. Smoke from the big burner in front of the building is supposed cure any ailment. It may even make you smarter.

The temples in Japan are a site to behold and it is nice to see that they are looked after and very symbolic to the people of Japan
