We found this museum close by and it was well worth a visit if you have an hour or two available. The museum is very new in the current location and shows a history of salt production around the world. The layout is very clean...More

It is not the first museum in Tokyo that you go to , but if you are around and have an hour to spend it is highly recommended to visit. It was interesting to see how they skip talking about the smoking damage...

Exhibitions about tobacco and salt production. Set up by the former monopoly holder, had rotating and fixed exhibits. Reasonably fresh exhibits.

Here on display a variety of information and dioramas on the history and culture of tobacco coming from Latin America as well as its association with cigarettes in Japan, and Japanese foreign salt and salt. Admission 50 Yen per person.
