Ground floor display was free with some basic displays but no English explanations, for that reason we chose not to pay to see the rest. The modern architecture was of interest when compared to the original building it replaced.
If you are not interested in Japanese sword smithing then the 1,000yen entry fee makes a visit unjustified. If you interested be aware this museum is small (two rooms) and has only modern blades forged recently. If you want to historical blades then the Tokyo...More
We expected a bit more from this museum (and the admission fee of 1000 ¥). The exhibition is just in 2 rooms, one in the lobby (most likely accessible even without the ticket) and the main exhibition in the exhibition hall on the 3rd floor....More
