If you're into Japanese animation I would highly recommend this stop at the beginning of your visit to Tokyo. There is an audio tour in English too (which you don't get at the Ghibli) which provides interesting facts as you walk through the exhibit from...More

I love cartoon a lot so I decided to go there. There are some videos with English subscription for you to see how they make it. There was a machine for you to do voice over. But it is a bit difficult to play if...More

Certainly if you are into animation, you shouldn't miss this. Very nice facility - lots of activities for children and well explained history of animation. Most explanations in English as well.

Don't arrive at 5.30pm on a Saturday as you're likely to find it closed like we did! And allow plenty of time to find it! But we did find lots of nice places to eat at the nearby Ogikubo station :)
