Stunning collection of traditional Japanese and historical and contemporary European fashion including most of the significant 20th century designers. Chanel, Vionnet, Dior Balenciaga, Westwood ... too many to list. Exhibits change however so not everything in the collection is on display ate the same time....More

The exhibit changes 4 times a year, so I would check ahead of time to see what the you will actually see. I went when the exhibit was on the period when Japan started to incorporate western dress into their clothing. The display included clothing...More

The museum consists of two rooms and it is paid entry. What is exhibited is immaculate and beautiful , but when I visited it was all Western clothing which was only of interest due to me being a costume student but not of huge interest...More

This so-called museum is pathetic. It's made up of 2 small rooms. That's it. There're a couple of costumes on display, most of which are miniatures, but nothing more. You will not need more than 5 minutes to explore the two rooms. No photography is...More

You are interested in development of clothing or garments in Tokyo? Yes, it's here. You can find an extensive collection of clothing industry of their collections, including Japanese traditional clothes, kimono. Here the value of its history. Interesting! Admission 500 Yen for adult.
