I like Haneda airport and I am always flying there fom Europe instead of Narita. It is closer to my hotel and has, generally speaking, good facilities. But the last time, a week ago I was flying from Haneda to Doha, for the first time,...More

As tourists visiting Japan we really love this airport. It's closer to downtown Tokyo than Narita. We typically took the Monorail to connect us to the Yamanote line subway then to our hotel at Tokyo Station for 600 or so yen. It's even easier to...More

After everything that is exceptional about Japan the airport lounge is not really what you'd expect. True the champagne is good, the food not too bad but the whole set-up is a mishmash.

The lounge was excellent. Offered a good selection of food and drinks to suit all diets. Free newspapers, most were in Japanese but two were in English if you are keen to catch up on UK news. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very big, but very well organized, lots of space, it never feels overcrowded. Unfortunately the airport lounge is behind the incheck counters, but we could spend the night easily by sleeping on the many couches you find everywhere.
