We had a 2 hour break from the big city bustle. The gardens and lakes are beautiful and is a good place to have a picnic lunch. Admission is cheap with seniors half that at 150Y.

Peaceful and quiet even with a lot of people visiting. Be sure to check out the teahouse and walk along the harbor waterfront.

This reminded me of a private park in Downtown NY but with different landscape and setting. Was very well kept and except for a few loud tourist groups was very colming and quite.

A two minute walk from Hamamatsucho station, these little gardens are a gem. Entrance was minimal, maybe 150 yen? The gardens really are an oasis of serenity - I think I was the only person moving when I visited, everyone else was either sat down...More

A horrifying trip i think i want to die on the inside. The place smelled off, smelled like stench of parched flowers. My eyes slowly deteriorated.

The Kyu-Shiba-rikyu garden is just excellent! There is a small entrance fee (150 yen) and it is well worth it. This garden is a photographer's delight! The garden is very accessible via the Yamanote line.

I had time to kill in the area, so I decided to visit this garden. It was a small garden, but for 150 yen (I believe), it was worth a visit. In a middle of a city, this garden provided a relaxing space.

Kind of stumbled upon this garden by chance. A great introduction to Japanese gardens and buildings. Offers a huge lake and tea house. Could easily spend hours here. Former home of the shoguns and imperials in Japan history. Great to see
