So I went to the Vegan foodie adventure as I was very worried whether or not would Japan have actually ANY vegan food :"( So we met our tourguide, Jackie, in the heart of Tokyo in Shibuya and we began our day. We had amazing vegan lunch in one of our guide's Favorited restaurants (Which was fully vegan and had such a beautiful atmosphere) and she began to explain how many vegan restaurants there really are in Tokyo but not so well advertised. She also gave me a little selection of Japanese phrases ( In paper ) to help me ordering food for the duration of my trip. She then showed us around Shibuya which was so fun! We also went through a grocery store and she showed me handy vegan snacks ( and also WHY does Japan have 200$ mangos? lol ) we finished off the tour with some tasty doughnuts in a cool hip cafe!! She then gave me suggestions on where to eat on my own time. It honestly helped me alot, and I'm sure it saved me some headaches for the remainder of my week! Jackie was pleased to answer any goofy questions I had, Great tour with a very fun and knowledgeable tour guide!!

This tour with Jackie was just awesome. Even not being vegan, the food she made me discover was excellent and good tasting. She opened my mind about vegan food!
And Jackie is good at explaining her choices, why she is vegan, and never judges you! She is really understanding !
In one word I recommend this tour! I had a great moment :)

Jackie is a true expert on all things vegan and vegetarian in Japan, not only was the food amazing and she is a knowledgeable guide she also had a million other tips for being vegan in Japan. Basic Japanese symbols to look for on snacks at the conbini and tips for restaurants not only in Japan but the rest of Asia. Her enthusiasm for what she does is contagious, even if you aren't vegan she provides an amazing experience throughout the Tokyo food scene. I would highly recommend spending the day with her to enjoy good company, spectacular views and delicious food (including vegan donuts) 10/10

It was a great tour, I really enjoyed the food !! It was not only about eating vegan food but Jackie knew also a lot of fun facts about foods and Japan as well as giving very useful tips on how to find the vegan snacks in the convenience store which can be very tricky sometimes. I would definitely recommend the tour for vegan and non vegan :)

We booked this tour with our 3 boys ages 15, 12 and 8 who sometimes can be hard to please, but the boys loved it and so did we! We were looking for an activity that would entertain the boys and give us adults something fun and laid back to experience after we sadly did not have too much of a good time with a different tour company the day before. The group was large and not very accommodating of our kids. We got lucky with Gizem's tour, being the only booked guests for the tour on that day

Gizem ticked all the boxes and went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and well-fed. The backstreet murals and animal ice creams were our favorites! Other than that there were lots of fun and rainbow-colored things to eat. Especially our youngest was fascinated by the rainbow cotton candy cloud. Also the doodle machine pictures were another highlight!

We never really take pictures but she offered to take our pictures on multiple occasions so we had beautiful photos to show off to friends and family back home - ha ha!

Thank you Gizem for this amazing tour. We will be happy to recommend this tour to all our friends.

The tour with Giz was so fun that 3 hours passed by incredibly fast! She is very personable and easy-going, I felt connected right away and really enjoyed our time together. I also appreciated all the insights about Harajuku and the current trending fashion and food scenes from Giz, she's knowledgeable and very passionate. Giz took us to all the cool food vendors as well as all the cute spots for pictures. BTW, Giz is an amazing photographer! I loved all the pictures and boomerang videos she took for me. I couldn't have had the same experience without Giz! Highly recommend for Harajuku and Kawaii culture.

So the food in Harajuku is ok. Great for Instagram but not great on the tastebuds. Never fear Giz is here to save your kawaii day. Deep diving into the history and the kawaii food this tour shows you a very different experience of this region of Tokyo.

Giz was a wealth of knowledge and a whole bucket load of kawaii fun to explore town with.

I did the Harajuku tour and must say, Gizem is a great guide! Nothing is rushed or fake, she let me take my time with things I liked, take photos, change stuff on the spot to accommodate some other need of ours and so on. A small group is perfect for this.
She explains a lot about Japanese culture as well, it's not just snacking. And she makes sure things are not just pretty, but also tasty. She also helped us experience a bit of that culture, like taking us to photo booths, hidden graffiti not many know about etc.
