Ito was super kind since the beginign of the bike path. Curious neighbourhood !! A good way to see a part of Tokio otherwise you never discover. For me, very interesting the rice factory just in a garage also the temple!! Thank you Ito!

Met Kaoru on a pleasant afternoon in Fukagawa. Spent three wonderful hours cycling, tasting tofu, visiting a bamboo timber yard, tasting Sake and attending a fascinating Buddhist Temple and ceremony. We can explore in the local Edo-town "Fukagawa" by bike. We learn history and culture and enjoy landscape, local food and sake. It's so hot and humid, but even for me as a Japanese, this experience is great fun! 日本人でもなかなか知らない歴史や文化を教わりながら、下町の昔ながらのお豆腐屋さんや着物屋さんから神社や寺を自転車で巡って最後は日本酒のテイスティング。蒸し暑い中の自転車は汗だくになるけど風があって気持ち良いし、途中公園でコーヒーブレイクも。深川は珈琲焙煎が盛んみたいで、お洒落なカフェやお店もたくさんあって、新旧がいいかんじに溶け込んだ町並み。日本人でもかなり楽しめてオススメです。
