What Makes It Special
This is the first-ever department store in Ginza. It contains mostly premium fashion, beauty, and homeware brands. There's also an impressive two-level food hall in the basement.

Another nice high end department store - but the food basement on the bottom is great - but also similar to high end department stores. No real need to stop in here - largely same goods as in the US and everywhere else.

It is in a very good location and it is pretty big. I do not like it after visiting some other malls like Tokyo Midtown, etc. Discover the basement!

If you wear Asian size clothing and are looking for clothing, jewelry or accessories, you will probably like this store and I would recommend it. Lots of lovely variety. If you are a tall Caucasian, like me, the clothes won't fit. I did buy several...More

This is an upscale department store in Ginza, a short subway ride from our Hilton in Shinjuku. The basement food gallery (octupus, etc) is similar to Harrod's in London. Bought rice crackers rolled to look like mini 1" geishas.Few clerks spoke English but we were with...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
