Whenever in Japan, I make it a point to visit Ippodo (either Kyoto or Tokyo) to purchase matcha and genmaicha. I always appreciate the quality of their tea products.

Have to wait about 30-40 minutes but trust me it’s worth to wait for. I go with my husband and my 5 years old. Service so amazing

a very pleasant and interesting place for resting after walk or shopping in the area. a good experience to have good quality japanese tea instead of coffee (again). they provide different tea to choose from, and also tea leaves pack to buy as gifts.
