Whenever in Japan, I make it a point to visit Ippodo (either Kyoto or Tokyo) to purchase matcha and genmaicha. I always appreciate the quality of their tea products.

a very pleasant and interesting place for resting after walk or shopping in the area. a good experience to have good quality japanese tea instead of coffee (again). they provide different tea to choose from, and also tea leaves pack to buy as gifts.

I used to be a coffee drinker, this place turned me into a tea fanatic! Great service, very friendly staff, fabulous matcha tea and another reason to go back to Tokyo as soon as possible. 😊
