At one time BQ Mall was THE place to shop in Tagbilaran. Nowadays a number of newer and larger malls have proliferated taking away some of the attraction. However it is still popular, has done good shopping, and on the top floor a great local food hall and a cinema complex. If you like shopping and malls then BQ is worth a visit.

Had almost everything one would need before staying at the resort especially since we booked at a place quite a way from any store. ATM, supermarket and fast foods were available.

I like the BQ Mall because it has a certain quality and querkiness! it's an older mall but that gives it a charm that the other don't have-- the spiral stair-case, the nooks and cranies, the new Bakery is really inviting and also has it's own nooks-n-crannies, the various levels and half-levels make it more interesting and normally there's enough parking. It's just Likable!

Three things would make it a Whole lot better:
1. The air con in main part of the mall doesn't necessarily need to be cooler but it needs more air flow. That goes for the MacDonalds there too!
2. The garbage is stored at the bottom of the Fourth-floor-parking-exit driveway and can be smelled all the way to the Geleteria. This is the last thing people think about as they leave the BQ and it shouldn't be. It's an easy-fix.
3. A regular clutter of empty Shopping carts at the registers which get in the way and cause frustration for customers.
Actually all these are easy-fixes and would greatly improve the BQ's overall reception.

This mall has a supermarket on the ground floor, quite local but sells fresh fruit and has a bakery inside.
On the 4th floor has Gerry’s Grill, must go for the seafood, skip the meat there, the quid and the tuna is AMAZING !!
Same floor as Gerry’s is a cinema, 100 pesos for a ticket and free seating.
Not much to do at this mall except eat or go to the Cinema.
They also have 2 ATM machines outside this mall, RCBC is the one you should use if you have a foreign card.

BQ Mall is just a small mall compared to others in the Philippines. You can buy things you need here especially when travelling. It is not that posh compared to other malls in the country. Good thing about this mall is that it is located near fairly priced hotel accommodations where you can stay while in Bohol.

I've been traveling for a while in the Philippines and came to the shocking revelation that buying a tampon is nearly impossible! Everywhere i went, i saw rows of sanitary napkins: no tampons. I didn't expect much when i went to this particular mall but then i found it in the supermarket/pharmacist: a brand called Ladouce Tampons. I was skeptical at first (like why haven't i found this sooner?), but after reading that it was a new brand produced in Europe; i quickly purchased it. Now i always carry a box of it in my luggage and come back to this mall for more. Thank you so much Bohol Quality Mall for having Ladouce Tampons in stock, you're a lifesaver!

This mall is situated just at the city center. Government offices, banks, parks, cathedral and some schools are within the vicinity and most accessible to go to Panglao island.

The Mall is designed in five levels, the underground level where the supermarket is found and the first level is the Atrium Center where some events happen on special occasions. There are restaurants, good bake shops and cinemas here. Department stores, specialty stores selling high-end products can also be found.

I like to visit here when we needed food and other stuff to be brought back to the resort. This is also the best place to grab some "pasalubong" for family and friends back home. In some cases when I cannot visit my hometown to get the original calamay, I can rely here in BQ Mall.

You cannot find Open Parking space here in BQ mall but there are private parking places nearby. In most cases I prefer the Gallares entrance to get a motorcab or a taxi. It is easy and quick here.

If you are on a rented motorbike and want a safe place to park, there's an area in front of the mall for parking that's got a security guard managing it.
