We came across excellent reviews and contacted Mr. Paul Dilao right away! He was prompt, offered an itinerary that worked for us (2 adults and a 4 year old) perfectly, loved the focus on conservation and sanctuaries!!! He was very attentive with our child, she is usually reserved and shy but opened up right away with him! Our time in Bohol was priceless thanks to Paul, we cannot wait to return (he also dropped us off promptly at the seaport the next day). Thank you!!!

Mr Paul Dilao was our guide for a day trip to Dimiao Twin Falls, Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Conservation, Loboc River Cruise and Zip line. Paul speaks English eloquently, is humorous, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and makes the effort to share interesting information about the history, culture and practises of the local folks in Bohol. We had a great time with him. He is also able to predict the weather with high accuracy! We highly recommend engaging him as your guide in Bohol! His contact number is +63 921 201 9812.

There are many tours that generally all go to the same spots in Bohol. There are lots of nice interesting things to see on this tour.
One big thing I wish someone would have told me is the Chocolate Hills tour is really like a thrill ride on ATV's. You will get wet and possible muddy. Do you wear shoes you do not want soaked. I made the mistake of wearing running shoes with socks and they were soaked. Either wear or bring beach shoes with you. I would suggest you buy a parka they sell there to keep you cleaner to about 1 USD.
Other than that I enjoyed the tour. I hired a private driver and he did a good job,

Only high praise for Paul, who is a warm, intelligent, genuine person and very informative tour guide.
Nothing was rushed, all the stops were interesting and he looked after us the whole day.
He's also a really nice guy to chat with as you drive from place to place.
If you find yourself in Bohol and don't fancy seeing the sites whilst sharing a bus with 40 other people, I'd advise getting in touch with Paul and let him take care of your itinerary.

Where do I begin? I contacted Paul to organise a tour a few days ahead of arrival (based on the trip advisor reviews). He responded straight away with a detailed itinerary. Unfortunately, I had gotten my date mixed up and only realised on the morning of the tour - Paul was extremely kind and arranged for another great guide, Anthony to take his place. We saw some beautiful parts of Bohol (Chocolate hills, Tarsiers, forest, butterfly sanctuary etc). Paul then organised our ferry trip to Cebu - he not only ordered the tickets, he picked us up at 5am to drop us at the terminal. He has a beautiful and comfortable car - which for people with families, can be a big plus. Paul is knowledgable, kind, extremely diligent, reliable and trustworthy. Don't hesitate to go on a day tour with him (next time we are in Bohol, he will be the first person I contact). You can contact Paul via phone/Whatsapp: +63 921 201 9812

We found Mr. Paul Dilao here on Trip Advisor and are really glad we booked him. He is very nice and knowledgeable driver, extremely polite and considerate of request his clients have. He did everything he could to make our trip pleasant and memorable, avoiding crowds and queues. His driving is calm and safe (one of our kids has extremely sensitive stomach and gets sick very quickly, but never did during our whole trip). At end of trip he also drove us to one of local markets and helped us buy some fruits we wanted to try. Also booked ferry tickets for us to Cebu. I'd say he is hands down best private driver we ever had and will definitely book him again if we come back to Bohol. He can be contacted via Whatsapp (+63 921 201 9812). Heartly reccommended!

Had an 8 hour countryside tour of Bohol with Paul.
Paul is a pleasant guide with a lot of knowledge of both local people, locations and culture.
He followed our wish of avoiding the tourists but still being able to see all the spots.
Price is really fair taking into consideration that this is not a regular Countryside tour.
This is a wholesome experience!!
Furthermore Paul helped us with transfer to the Loboc area the next day.
You can reach Paul on both WhatsApp and SMS on +63 915 251 5839

We traveled to Bohol duing April 2022, unfortunately, our airport transfer that was arranged by our hotel did not arrive to pick us up, the bright side, Paul was at the airport and offered his services. We couldn't have been happier!
Paul is professional, courteous and very informative. He loves Bohol and was gracious in sharing so much of it with us! He was flexible with his schedule and made sure we were able to see everything we wanted.
We went to Chocolate Hills, the Tazier Sanctuary, and Loboc River Cruise on our first day. The following day we went to see the Whale Sharks. Of course, we had Paul take us to the airport as we knew we could count on him!
I highly recommend Paul as a guide if you are planning a trip to Bohol.

Hi
I am in contact with the company on Facebook and we are being asked for a deposit to book our tour, via bank transfer. Is this normal practice?
Written April 9, 2019
Yes, it is. If you wish to secure a slot/place (guide/ferry/plane/ hotel) especially during peak season then do so. If your travel is during lean season there’s no need for it.
A lot of tours/guides will offer you their service once you land Tagbilaran, Bohol (for a cheaper rate) but quality wise, I don’t know.
Above is based on my experience as a tourist there.

Hello,
Is it possible to make only 1 day tour from Cebú? We are arriving to Cebú airport at 7,30 and I was wondering if they could pick us up from the airport, visit Bohol and drop us back to Cebú.
Thanks!

I'm looking for to hire driver for day tour of the usual attractions in bohol, must I book in advance, what are the rates Per hour
Written February 21, 2018
Hi.
My wife and I are looking for a private tour of some of the sights in Bohol- The Tarsier Sanctuary, Chocolate Hills etc. Because we will be on a different island, we probably wouldn't arrive until midday or just before. The plan would be to maybe have 5 or 6 hours and then stay on the island and get the ferry back the next day.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

Can we book a tour with Paul? We are 11 adults, 3 kids, 2 babies. How much it will cost us. Our hotel is free of pick-up and dropped- off to airport. We only need a ride/tour to a nice & safe driver.
