Great stopover port. We had been warned about the pontoon damage due to strong southerlies bouncing wave the around the marina. Staff were working hard to fix the damage and new piles at the ends of the fingers should help prevent another occurrence. Very dirty...More

Of the seven ports we visited on this trip, the port of Aleixes and one year old terminal building was the most beautiful architecturally and easiest to navigate, hence most functional. In some respects you expect art exhibits to be featured here.
