Nice small island but with a lot of construction at the moment, we stayed in a premier suite which was nice but overpriced and offered no room service. there is a small beach but the boats from the mainland stop here which limits space for swimming. most people leave the island by 5pm and there is no evening entertainment so... I used to come to this sandbar seven years ago when there was no tourist infrastructure in place. It was beautiful then. We have lunch cooked for us by resident fishermen families with menu based on the day's catch. Beach was white, clean and water was crystal clear. Visitors were mostly day trippers and campers. Upkeep of the this small... More

It was indeed a beautiful island with great opportunities to attract tourists, but it is still a work-in-progress. Construction and beautification is on going. Their staff are hospitable but they don't have proper orientation and training. When I booked and made payment, I received the receipt promptly. When I replied with inquiries, I was told to call their reception. But... More

I was so excited to visit the island because of the pictures and videos that I saw on Facebook. We took the day tour and when we arrive at the island we were very disappointed. It was not really as picturesque as I pictured it to be. Yes, it has a white sand but the water was not clear and... More

Nice and quiet resort with white sand and blue sea. Lots of beach huts for shade and good music playing throughout the day. I stayed in a bamboo hut which was adequate for a short stay. Toilet and shower is in a next door hut so it's not accessible from inside the hut. Lots of improvements would make this a... More

They have to fair for the price of their extra persons. Its okay to charge for extra persons but they must provide extra bed for the extra. That's all my concern!

I love going to the beach! I like this place, its a hidden island. Perfect for a beach lover like me. The sand is white, the beach is clean the cottages are nice, the staffs are nice, and bathroom is great & clean. We came for a day trip. The entrance fee is 200 per person that includes boat ride... Lakawon Island is a nice place to visit for a cool kind of beach experience. Me and my friends went there on a day tour, and our stay was pleasant. The beach was clean, the sand was pearly white, and the huts provide cool refuge from the burning sun. We didnt bring any food, there was a corkage fee of... More
