If you like Belenes, go for it!
There are many figures and compositions. It could do with more information about the pieces, but I stil loved it!
One of the best things in Alicante.

Fantastic place to visit and it’s free. Loads of models and displays. Not so easy to find as doesn’t look much from the outside - see photos.

Free entry Nativity Scene museum, well worth a visit, most houses in Spein have a nativity scene at Christmas, these are some of the different very well made scenes.

Wonderful little discovery! Free entry. Some great model figures but the highlight is the brilliantly made scenes taken from the early life of Jesus.

It's easy to miss this delightful museum, but it's well worth a visit. The models have so much detail in them and there are quite a few to see. Once again it is free entry.

Arguably one of Alicante’s best kept secrets, it is worth taking some time to visit the Nativity museum. Tucked away in the Old Town, not far from the Basilica Santa Maria and MACA. Visited one evening, this small museum contains a breathtaking array of hundreds of carefully crafted figurines and models depicting the Nativity and various Biblical scenes. Well worth the visit to see the intricate detail of each model; some of which are crafted in a picture frame, others are larger in size. Free entry which is another major advantage.

We tried to visit in January 2019 and there was a sign on the door saying they had had to close. There was no indication given as to when they might be reopening.

Many, many figures and scenes from the nativity and some from the presentation at the Temple. Some great dioramas and craftmanship on show.
Not surprisingly all on one theme, so if its not your theme best to avoid!

We loved this museum. It is free and is so quaint. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is also nice and cool when the sun is at its hottest.

It might be great but it was shut when it was supposed to be open. Wandering around the old town trying to find it was enjoyable and led to some nice finds.

Does anybody know why there is a wishing well at the back of the museum?
Thanks, Li
What are the hours you are open in May?

Hi, I can't tell you their opening hours for May, but when we were there in October they were open most days til 4 or 5pm. We went on the Sunday and had to be quick as it closed at 1 (or maybe 2)pm that day. Hope this helps.
