So I had planned to spend a month here, volunteering. Having over a decade of experience in horses and riding schools, I was so excited. I lasted 10 days. The place itself is beautiful, the people are friendly to their customers. However, the horses are in poor condition. Overworked and skinny. They had 2 riding school horses which were made to do multiple lessons for hours in the heat with no breaks or access to water. The liveries which appeared in better condition, had dull coats, and I suspected some had worms. This just scratches the surface of what I had to deal with here. I was appalled at the treatment of these animals, and just had to leave.
