I spent a very pleasant hour walking round the garden on a sunny cool October morning. I went in on a whim, but would recommend a visit if you are in the area. It’s very pretty and well laid out.

The Tonogayato Gardens are beautiful; a welcome respite right near a train station in an urban area. Admission is less than $2 (less than $1 for seniors) and one can easily wile away an hour or more--even in February before the blossoms burst. A wonderful...More

The park is just a very short walk from the train station. Such a quiet oasis in a busy city. Take the time to visit The lake and the teahouse.
