We are a family based winery focusing on premium wines produced from grapes grown in the spectacular Similkameen Valley. Our unique solar powered winery was built using strawbale construction, which is energy efficient and well suited to our desert environment. Our wineshop is open for tastings from May until October. We have a beautiful long table next to our vineyard, surrounded by trees - the perfect setting for a picnic and glass of wine.

This is our third consecutive year making Orofino our fall destination for stocking up on wine. We decided to stay in the suites so that we could self catering as well as drink Orofino wine. We loved the area for cycling and hiking too.

We showed up on a Sunday morning passing thru and the maker was fabulously accommodating in opening up the shop to sell a few bottles. I'd tasted their reds before and was impressed with depth and intensity of their wines. I really love their low...More

Stopped as a group of 6 to vineyard. Great little spot in the Similkemeen Valley and one of my favourite Canadian wine producers. These guys craft serious Riesling & Pinot Noir. Tried some of their wild ferment Syrah done in concrete (egg?) and was very...More

We stayed, we saw amazing views from our suite and we conquered several of their great wines! Do not miss this winery when you're in the lovely Similkameen Valley.

Orofino is by far one of the better wineries in Cawston. The Syrah is really good. I am not a Riesling fun but their Hendsbee Vineyard one is really good. They make two types of Riesling - the Hendsbee Vineyard one is dry (the other...More

Love your wines. My family is always excited when I bring them to dinner parties! Here are some of my favorites!! The Beleza is a big bold red but very smooth. The Wild Ferment Syrah and Wild Ferment Old Vines Riesling are just yummy and...More
