Reminded me of my days at Hippie Hollow in Austin, Texas, USA. Figures are quite lifelike and very detailed. Posed a question who was supposed to bring the bikini's?

The Statue of Maidens located at the end of the path along the lakeside. The colorful trees background around formed beautiful setup for photo-taking. We saw many tourists taking group photos here. Don't miss the opportunity to come here when you travel to Towada Lake.

If you visit Towada lake you just have to visit the maidens statue. It is nicely situated beside the lake and a good photo opportunity.

It just sits at the end of a path along the lake. The surrounding of statue is peaceful and natural. A beautiful temple just few minutes walks away and worth a see.

The statue itself is not so impressive. But come here anyway, the view of the lake is amazing and it's a very nice and quite walk.

Nice pair of statue by Lake Towada and a stone's throw from Towada Shrine. The statue is actually just next to the lake side beach so it's nice for a picnic of rice balls and green tea (or local Oirase beer).

The draw about Lake Towada is that you are not going to be hit by a whole bunch of commercial attractions. One of the few things to see there is this statue. It is attractive, apparently modeled after the artist's wife.
