Overview
More
At Klein Roosboom the elements combine in perfect harmony to create the enviable conditions that make our wines so special. Our unique terroir allows each grape variety to be grown in the locale climatic conditions that suit it best. Our south-facing slopes are suited to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Our wines happily lodge their roots into rich Hutton, Oakleaf and Clovely soils, extracting nourishment from the earth. As the fresh Atlantic breeze cools our vineyards, the crisp Cape air shapes the flavours of the grapes, and in turn, the quality of our wines. We also receive an average annual rainfall of between 400 and 650mm, allowing our farmlands to flourish and thrive. We invite you to discover our piece of heaven that we bottled on earth. Taste our terroir, feel our delicate sea breeze and share our endless passion.

This is really a must! You always feel welcome, the decor and vibe is unique and adds to the experience. Great wines to be tasted at great prices! Also have stunning platters to offer! Karen and team always make it an enjoyable experience!

So I’m wondering why I paid R50pp to get in, only to stand in a 20min queue for wine, discover there are no tables, nowhere to sit, R100 for a pulled pork roll?! R100 for the tiniest cheese platter ever? Absolutely shocking!

We booked a "cave" which is in fact a disused wine vat with the tannin still visible on the walls! Each "cave" is decked out with cushions and couches and you can enjoy you wine tasting in the comfort of your own cave. We ordered...More

If you are looking for something totally different, this is the place. No gloss, no minimalistic, only raw and real.

Met at Klein Roosboom with another couple to discuss and finalise our trip to Thailand. We had booked "Die Ou Gat" ( there are number of these hollowed out 'cages' which used to be the cellar). We had THE most amazing time. Great Company, Great...More

Love the fact that this place has such a unique, intimate look and feel to it. We were a little disappointed with the fact that the restaurant was closed (reopens in 2019) but the very friendly and informed waiter took the time to explain the...More
