We had 4 lovely skiing days with best sunshine weather with empty pistes, nice pauses at Gletscherhütte and new Spannagelhaus

Loved it. Awesome skiing with Alex Meier from SkiSchule. Steeper slopes than the colour-codes may lead you to believe.!

I can not confirm open for skiing, but rentals are not included in lift ticket price. We were there last May and rented ski pants, skis and boots at the base. You could also rent a ski parka if needed. There was plenty of... More

Not sure as never having attended the opening. My inclination would be to avoid the crowds (and queues) and go a week later.
