The main part of this museum are uniforms from WW2 many of which are displayed in scenes which add interest. The museum also houses many artefacts. All the displays were immaculately clean and well presented.

Our first visit to this museum despite knowing the area very well. Entry fee is Eu8.90 but well worth it! We spent around an hour studying all the dioramas, each window representing a different stage of the war. There are many uniforms from the different...More

There is a large of displays & information around this museum. Worth a visit and entrance fee. There is a toilet on site & a WW2 shop. There are some external static displays that I couldn’t gain access to. There is a large free car...More

Although we visit Wimereux every year we've never managed to get to this museum before. It's a small private museum, full of memorabilia about WW2. What makes the museum is the use of dioramas with mannequins in all sorts of wartime uniforms, complete with relevant...More

Brilliant little private museum with a superb range of uniforms, weapons, and memorabilia as well as plaques /notices providing a narrative. Also a 25 minute video presentation which we did not view this time.

Very interesting unbiased account of WWII events. This place is stocked full of artifacts from French, German, American, and Japanese soldiers. My husband and I read every board and really enjoyed the attention to detail. It is a somber thing to see as we often...More

A gold standard museum partnered with Batterie Todd (just up the road at Audinghen), entry to one gives a reduced entry fee to the other. The tale of WW2 is presented well, by the use of exhibits and uniformed mannequins in setting. The application of...More

Spent the morning at the museum with two young children. They loved seeing the soldiers all dressed up and the different stories behind the exhibition. Definately worth visiting if you are interested in WW2.

Very interesting collection of uniforms, weapons and other artifacts. Lots of details about various campaigns in the Second World War including the Polish campaign and the Japanese surrender.
