Munnar has many view points but Pothamedu view point is very lovely. Mostly area is covered by cloud but is extraordinary view if weather is clear.

In a place so filled with views, this spot made my heart break. A true symbol of the trouble we have with 'tourist attractions', it was filled with litter. Quite difficult to enjoy a view when you're constantly worried about the environment around.

Good place, Good Nature. but no toilets. If you are healthy for walking you can take this root because the roads are not good

Nice experience of the pothamedu viewpoint and the lush green mountain brings happiness. especially travelling in october and november that too in the morning hours its a feast for eyes.

The drive was off-road but the place was less crowded and climate is really nice.. the mist was feeling us freezing and it was enjoyable

in my visit there i barely saw any trekking company ad. i know that from top station which is 30kms from munnar, the kerela tourist board has overnight camping. it is possible to descend to the plains of karnatak below. not... More
