We walked up the hill to see the castle. It's so interesting to walk around the walls, both inside and outside the fortress. The views are breathtaking, both on the way up the mountain and from the top. A great walk and interesting day out.

We always take time to visit the Wultzburg when we go to Weissenburg. This is a great example of German castles. It is forever being restored but has stood the test of time. It has a huge dry moat and inside you can walk around...More

nice bastions, we took the tour, it was in german but it was interesting , nice view from the bastions, the guide also takes you to the prisons and show you the deepest well in Bavaria. tour takes almost 1 hour.
