What a stunning place. Views across to England and sand that goes on for miles. Interesting remnants of German defences still there. Beautiful.

Beautiful on a sunny october day. Just a short wslk from the promenade area of the village. Golden sands and dunes. We were very lucky, it was sunny and hot. On the D940 road inbetween Calais and Boulogne. Parking in street before seafront.

Went twice with family. Clean, sandy long beaches with shallow sea and little pools so great for kids. At times, the waves are good enough for body boarding. The life guards are fantastic - they follow the tide out and back and constantly check on...More

Gorgeous sandy beach with shallow warm (ish) sea water, sand dunes with Nazi WWII bunkers for the adventurous and history buffs and long vast stretches of solid sand, when the tide is out, for runners, dog walkers, football, families and couples. What’s not to like?!

yes really. outrageous. rather than ban people not picking up poop or keeping under control, the zealot canine hating mayor has banned all dogs from the promenade and is imposing fines. how or why would tourists visit and not walk along the promenadw.

The little Town of Wissant is between both big cliffs of the Opal coast : Cap Griz nez and Cap blanc nez (grey and white noses, for the couloir of the stone). The beach side is natural and little constructed so you can enjoy the...More

Parking on the beach is very restricted (small). Most people head to the camp ground on Rue de la source.
