Alona beach has it all nice white sand and palm trees. The water is shallow and warm which makes it perfect for taking a dip. We came when an ASEAN conference was on and they removed all the boats from the beach which made it...More

The beach is relatively small and not well maintained. Overcrowded with boats. Not particularly appealing for swimming. Most visitors seem to be taking boat trips for diving and snorkeling. If that's not for you you won't be drawn to Alona for the beach itself. Plenty...More

This beach is beautiful with nice white soft sand. Lots of shops and places to eat. Fun place. We stayed at the Hennan resort so this is right in front. A lot of the island hopping tours start here

This is her first time to travel outside Luzon and she loved the beach of Alona and the food in the Bee Resto. Best is to go there in the afternoon or early morning

Beautiful beach with lots of pubs and restaurants. You can also get a massage and relax by the water. Lovely stretch to go for a nice walk and plenty of places to stop for lunch/dinners and happy hours are pretty much all day!

This one's pretty much like Boracay, only that it's smaller. It has white sand and clear waters, too, plus the bars and restaurants along the beach. This is also the departure and arrival area for island hopping and snorkelling.

It could have been a great beach but...is overcrowded with bars and restaurants, lots of sea weeds and soooo many boats at all times. Not good for swimming either so don't waste your time here. Go to Anda beach instead, is is quite far but...More

Het is meer dan 2 jaar later, maar wij vlogen van Manila naar Tagbilaran en van daaruit is het een korte taxi rit naar Alona
