This is a nice and informative museum about the great father of "Nynorsk". You start with a 20 minutt long movie about Ivar Aasen's life. Good guiding both inside and outside. Beautiful building. Things to do for both adults and children.

This is a museum celebrating and telling the history of Ivar Aasen, the founder of one of the two versions of written Norwegian. If history or literature does not interest, the building itself is a masterpiece, designed by celebrated Norwegian architect Sverre Fehn. A little...More
