Small museum with scientific explanation for how things came to be. Very interesting. You will learn a lot. Great minds from our past gave us what we have today. Reasonable $5 admission

Most people got to Olympia from Katakolo, but we had just been two years before and decided to have a quite day in this little port town. In our research we found this little museum. It was great. Dozens of displays of ancient greek technology,...More

This is a small yet fascinating place to visit. We were a little put out after seeing a sign ‘donations’ which we gave the expected 5€ to be told per person, well that’s not a donation but an entry fee. Inside we were not allowed...More

Excellent idea, educative, didactic... Needs improvement on the audiovisual. Some of the initial explanation was made in a small TV and the noise from a projection in another room didn't let to understand some parts.

Good idea to see some of ancient Greek technology. Working models, you Will Enjoy the visit. For me, the best was the Pythagoras' cup.

We only got to spend a small amount of time here as their hours are limited. It was very interesting and a great idea.

Really enjoyed the museum to see everything that was there. Amazing to look at all history. Make sure you have time to look around and read all the information.

If you are intrigued by the inventions of the ancient Greeks, like Archimedes and the Katakolon Device, this is fascinating. If not, it is one room full of mostly small models and you will be out quickly. We enjoyed the science of it, the attendant...More

Amazing little museum full of fascinating models and information. We even had a demonstration of some working examples. Big shout out to Maria who could not have been more friendly or informative in excellent English. A wonderful way to spend an hour or two.

Yes. There are 2 museums - Ancient Greek Musical Instruments 5 mins walk and the Ancient Greek Technology around 10 mins walk. We only visited the latter. I wouldn't like to do the 2 on the same day! The choice is yours.
