The boat and staff were very nice. It is about an hour ride. Smooth ride. Rode back in the commodores lounge, very quiet and relaxing. You get a snack, drink (alcoholic to hot cocoa). Very nice!

We had plans to go to Catalina for my birthday this year and they apparently ended their 2 for 1 rides! No discounts or anything offered when I explained we had been planning this for months! SO DISAPPOINTED!!! :(

So much smoother trip both ways than we both remember as kids. Sitting in the lounge is great with few kids running around and a free drink. Our mimosas were a good start to our weekend getaway.

Not sure how you would get from the airport to the dock (maybe a shuttle), but the boat docks and ships are wheelchair accessible. The restrooms on the lower level of the boats are also. So you should have no trouble with... More

There were not a lot of seats at departure point at Avalon. A few wooden benches.
