The road from Agartala to the temple is being broadened, so some parts are narrow and difficult. The temple is good. On a small hilltop. Worth going

The temple is very popular with pilgrims as a shaktipeeth. It is clean and was fairly empty when I visited. However, the sight of bleating sacrificial lambs, very, very young ones, is quite heartwrenching.
