The museum is housed in the palace hence my review is under the palace. Please read it in detail. Its one of the best collections related to every human activity and history of the se en states of N E India. A must see place.

Good presentation of information, which we really appreciated after traveling around NE India. Beautiful building and grounds. Unfortunately we were not permitted to take photos inside the museum and we were chased by a security guard when we tried to take photos from the steps...More

Nothing specially related to tripura. all they have got is some painting and pictures from entire north east. waste of money and time

another name of Ujjayanta Palace, lovely place to enjoy with your family.keep in mind government holidays and Monday before planning to go there as it remain closed on these days.

The old palace of the Raja has been converted into a museum. Ambiance of the museum with Rabindra sangeet is awesome. A must visit if you are looking to know about Tripura and its heritage. The collections on Rabindranath Tagore are great and well displayed.

History of Tripura and the region, information of the dynasty that ruled over the area, artefacts, attractions around Tripura, the section on Rabindranath Tagore, are all a treasure trove to be discovered. Definitely requires a re-visit !
