A good museum. This is the Palace of Tripura King. Worth visiting. Now it also has a museum by govt. Good but a bit of 'overdoing'.

Situated heart of the Agartala City,Once it was the palace of Tripura Royal Family later it was Assembly house and now the Govt. Museum of Tripura. Beautiful building with greenery..

The museum is housed in the palace hence my review is under the palace. Please read it in detail. Its one of the best collections related to every human activity and history of the se en states of N E India. A must see place.

Good presentation of information, which we really appreciated after traveling around NE India. Beautiful building and grounds. Unfortunately we were not permitted to take photos inside the museum and we were chased by a security guard when we tried to take photos from the steps...More

between 100-150. I suggest dont go there. hardly anything to see.
