Presently Tripura State Museum is located in Ujjayanta Palace. The Monument is well maintained by the government and a good collection of North East culture, flora and fauna.

Its one of the most beautiful palace in India, Situated at Agartala City, Tripura. Once upon a time it was the Assembly of Tripura now Govt Meusium.

Visit Ujjayanta palace with group of friends. Museum was great and unique. Must visit if you are a history lover.

This museum is open from 11 am to 6 pm but its closed for lunch between 1.30-2.00 pm. They insist you leave your bag in the store room where there are no lockers. You get a small wooden tag and a similar tag is placed...More

I will say the only grand place in Agartala city is this palace cum museum. Do remember in Agartala all museums are closed on Monday, hence make your tour plans accordingly. This palace you have to enter by 5:30 pm after paying the entry fee....More

I had the privilege of visiting Ujjayanta palace in Agartala to meet the royal scion Pradyot Bikram Kishore Manikya Debbarma. It is a beautiful building and a part of it has been converted into a museum. The paintings and chandeliers add to the royal touch

All Heritage Monuments in India are open till sunset time except for Konark Sun Temple in Odisha which opens ftill 8 PM.
