Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge stands on the edge of Epping Forest, and has great views, both from the windows and from outside. We've visited it several times, and will continue to visit whenever we're in the area. Entrance is free, and there are free car-parks...More

Privately owned and well cared for. Absolutely recommend. I was visiting the Scouting Center up the road and came across it accidentally.

Great fun for kids and great space for them to run around! Staffs are really friendly. Lovely day and fun we had at the carving pumpkin event for the Halloween.

Well worth a visit, very convenient for Chingford station, and easy to combine with the Epping Forest and its visitor centre next door The sort of historical building it's easy to overlook as it's on your doorstep

Thanks for visiting Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge. We're sorry if the Lodge's current appearance wasn't what you remembered. The older appearance with the darker oak beams - like those of the Royal Forest pub next door to us - was a 'mock Tudor' architecture that...More
