Great museum in the heart of the historic center. Beautiful building, with some really good exhibits that illustrate the history and diversity of the State of Chihuahua. Definitely should make an effort to visit if you are in town.

Our family LOVED this museum. We had wished we would have visited this before we went to the Copper Canyon area. It would have giving us a better insight to the area and the people. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful gem!!

An absolutely great little museum that you just can't miss when in Chihuahua. A must when in town, just be careful with the photo restrictions. It's military property and there are certain rules with regards to where you can take photographs.

This museum has been modernized inside and has terrific permanent and short-term exhibits. The cell in which Father Hidalgo was held has a dramatic movie of his last days cast up on the wall as you stand in front of the actual cell. Very moving.
