We were pleasantly surprised by the seemingly new and updated menu. Although we missed out on the lobster, the steaks were great! Staff friendly. Beer good. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Being locals, we will visit again soon!

Excellant!!! Lovely room, friendly hosts, the menu is limited but they were more than creative in accommodating special diets. Best burger ever!!!

Superb dinner last Friday, belly/fillet of pork on a quince foam. Brilliant! Wife had the traditional fish and chips. The weekend specials are reasonably priced, as is the general menu. If your in Penryn, don't miss.

Visited a few times, love the food, the atmosphere and the Hayley's cider (where on Earth can I buy this cider?!).
Pizzas are delicious (specially the turkish one).

Last visit we enjoyed crab pasties - this time we had blackened fish which was just as good. Also stopped by for Sunday lunch which was lovely and filling.

My daughter and I stayed as part of a uni visit. We arrived separately ! Sian called me in advance to confirm times of arrival and she looked after my daughter until I arrived later in the evening. Food and beer was lovely. Great atmosphere. We stayed in the new accommodation which was first class. Sian and David couldn't do enough for us, David even gave us a lift to the uni campus and station... What a star! Very accommodating, we will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We have just had the most amazing dinner, such a chilled evening felt like i was sat in my living room with the best waitress service. If you are in Penryn or Falmouth make an effort to visit this family run pub.

Me and me wife popped in late on a Sunday evening but were able to get a decent mushroom tagliatelle and a nachos starter for £25-ish. The food was good and there were a couple of decent real ales on the bar too. A quiet but clean place when we visited with friendly staff as well. Worth a visit if you're in town.
